Berean Park

Would be an amazing experience going here, if there wasn't so much trash around everywhere! We will be back, with a bag for trash pickup next time. Can't wait to check it out in the summer!

This is a great little spot. My kids love coming here. They get the Beats feel without all the crowds. They have picnic areas as well as swimming as long as lifeguard is on duty.

Its peaceful on the trails, I love fishing there it's just a great place In general

Now open to Lloyd/Highland residents only as per signage at the gate. I'm a resident, but to me that just seems so petty and unneighborly. The beach is small and popular for families, so every time I've been there it has been busy with kids splashing and shrieking, parents yelling to the kids, barbequing, and playing music... typical family fun. As a single adult, I'd love to go swimming in the morning when it is peaceful, before it gets super hot and before noisy families show up, but apparently I cannot because the park doesn't even open until noon! Don't expect to go here for a relaxing time. Families rule at Barean Park. That said, if I had a family, I'd probably think it's a great little spot.

Nice small park with a pond for swimming, fishing, and trails for hiking or biking.
