Thank you Utah for striking again. My husband was feeling faint and took a drink of a soda, which the store sells. He was using the sugar in his soda to recover from low blood sugar. He took his face shield down long enough to drink his soda and then reset it in place. It took the length of a sip of soda for a bored store employee to walk over and try to reprimand him for pulling his mask down to take a drink. Her reason for bothering a customer who was around no other customers and minding his own business not bothering anyone or anything, was that you can’t drink in the store and that a mask is required in the store. He had a mask on. The store has no signs posted saying no eating or drinking in the store. And, if you do not want people eating or drinking in the store, why are you selling cold, ready to drink beverages? The woman was clearly bored from wiping down carts and had nothing better to do and needed to flex what little power she has in this world. Is this what it’s like when large and overbearing organizations control your every thought? You take out your frustrations on the customers that come to your place of work? Harassment for nothing. Does this corporation even know what’s going on in their own stores? Employees taking stupid things to ridiculous extremes. Get a life or at least a job you like and aren’t bored with.

If any of you have been to a Burlington lately you are aware the stock is terrible, however, what they DO have is hugely discounted and the staff are always so nice. I love this store!

It’s not the Burlington that I’ve always grown up with and especially since the security guy followed me around the entire store and basically walked me out the doors after he watched me pay for everything. Felt very uncomfortable and judgmental but whatever. Almost exactly the same as Ross except they have jackets. Prices are a little higher than Ross for the same quality..
