We took advantage of one of the hands-on education programs that they offer at the Audubon Center. This gave us a chance to learn about some of our local wildlife and birds, and then we built some nest boxes to take home and put up ourselves. After our enjoyable class, we went out to walk some of the well-marked trails that are free of charge and offer an enjoyable walk over bridges, through the woods, and give you all different views of nature. You have the opportunity to see all kinds of wildlife there, and the trails range from a short relaxing half mile to a longer two mile hike, if you have the time. There are different places along the way so you can stop and enjoy a picnic lunch or just take a peaceful break, and there's plenty, plenty of opportunities for some beautiful photography along the way. The trails are totally free of charge and the programs cost less than going to see a movie. I totally recommend checking out our local Audubon Center for individuals or families with children. Perfect way to spend a few hours, and better yet, it puts you in touch with nature not necessarily other people. So during this Pandemic it's an even smarter way to spend the day!

No sunset view. Hike is only half mile.

Our kids have so much fun every time we go here and each time it's like a brand new experience! Last night was the light show so well put together. and all the kids will be coming back again on Monday for mud camp.

Great for trail walking and viewing wildlife. Inside children and adult visitors will enjoy seeing a variety of wetlands creatures as well as a nice gift shop and reat info. A fantastic way to spend the day.

Weather warmed up to a nice crisp 38 degrees making for a brisk walk with my wife and 1 year old. We chilled at the wonderful play area before returning to the car. I would say that after almost a decade of visiting Liberty each visit, I was quite saddened to be unable to do so this time.
