Temple Concord is the most welcoming congregation with members who celebrate life. Let me explain: I've attended a multitude of happy events here with a dear friend (That she feels good here says it all). Not merely Shabbat services, but Shabbat in the Garden and Shabbat Happy Hour; A terrific Rabbi who fully embraces just about everyone; bountiful High Holiday services; High-quality rummage sales on the first Sunday of each month, the list goes on.nnNever met a supercilious or argumentative congregation member here. This is in solid contrast this of many to most congregations, say, in Queens.nnThe historic Kilmer mansion, with sanctuary is where home is for Temple Concord.nnMuch of the service is in Hebrew.nBecause of the above, and with the egalitarian services, consider the schul to be leaning toward Conservative rather than Reformed. Labels aren't ever necessary. It's a pleasure to attend here.
