In a bind with little time, I reached out to Kerry for some last minute alterations to a tuxedo that I needed for an out-of-state wedding. He promptly invited me into the shop where I was greeted by his father and tailor. A few days later, alternations to the tux were complete and I was walking out of the store with a tailored tuxedo and new apparel. The process was seamless and the experience was notable. Kerry and his father helped me select a suit for a funeral. The experience was second to none. I work in the construction industry and had never bought a suit anywhere but Macy’s. The service at Mark Thomas is exceptional. Not only are the staff experts in their craft but, they are exceptionally kind and compassionate people. I cannot recommend this experience enough. I did not know how the semi-custom process worked, but I never felt judged. They walked me through the steps on a busy Saturday. I was extremely pleased with my experience. Trust me when I say, you you will never have a better shopping experience than right here at Mark Thomas. I first stopped in a few months back, and I’m so happy I did. You walk into a beautiful store, and are greeted with top notch service. Kerry (The Owner) knows his trade very well, and will work out a plan for whatever it is that you need. For me, that was a massive wardrobe change. We tried multiple options until I found something I liked. He even convinced me to try a couple things I would’ve never even considered, and even changed my mind on a couple. Get everything tailored in house, and pick it up fitting properly, feeling like a million bucks. The kind of service you find here is unheard of, and you really feel like part of the family any time you stop by. On top of all that, the opportunity to support a local, family owned business. You truly can’t beat it!

The service and selection at Mark Thomas is hands down the best in the area! When you enter the door you are greeted warmly and they always make a point of personally remembering you and your shopping preferences. The selection is of the highest quality and they offer a wide variety of styles that appeal equally from the more traditional to the more cutting edge! No doubt the store is high end but you are paying for quality and service, I will always come back to this store to find the best men’s apparel in the Capital District!

Came in last second to get a suit for a funeral and I couldn't be more pleased with my experience! Mark helped with everything and was able to provide a great suit along with having it tailored and ready within 24 hours. Will be shopping here again in the future.
