Roman Gourmet

Was my first time here. It was extremely busy but the staff here is extremely efficient and precise. They handled everyone in a timely manner despite there being what seemed to be a line out the door.nnThe ordering process was painless, pick what you want, stand to the side and wait til yours is called.nnThe pizza: fantastic...excellent!nnI would visit this place again if I had the chance to- you should to!

I don't know if there are words that describe this place. It has been around forever, I went here all the time as a kid and unfortunately had to move away from Maplewood after my first year of High School. I have been going back on even years and never miss a chance to go here. To see it still run by family, regulars from the day it opened and still is the best pizza around is absolutely amazing. This place deserves a spot on the map for sure!!

The food here is decent. I happen to love their white cheese pizza. My review is more so to recognize a wonderful employee by the name of Mikkel. Mikkel is one of the kindest and nicest customer service cashiers. He is always pleasant and treats customers very well.nI have observed on several occasions, that there seems to be a lack of unity and respect among the team at Roman Gourmet, and it’s a real shame. I think a management needs to keep a close eye on behaviors that could serve to destroy respect and trust amongst the team. All of this affects a business overall, no matter how good the food is. I’ve seen some unpleasant behaviors by the employees towards other employee and I hope management takes the time to recognize those who bring value to their business and show appreciation to those employees, to help encourage them and the ready of the team.

Roman Gourmet has become our regular pizza place. The owner and the rest of the staff are all super nice. We only get the vegan pizza, but it's consistently perfect. Every time my family has gone, it's been a good experience (dining in and take-out). And to people who are curious, my guess is that the cheese is Violife.

The WORST! A guy who calls himself “Pancho” can’t seem to take your order unless you have 10 minutes to wait! Once he got the order he said “45” minutes. After waiting 90 minutes, still NO FOOD and NO CALL!nThe Worst ever. Maplewood Pizza is AWESOME, quick and delivered within 30 minutes. Shame-shame Roman, “F” in customer service Pancho!
