SuperFresh Roselle

I thought the isles were narrow and there prices weren't that good. Shoprite was cheaper and cleaner. My opinion of this food store is changing to a more positive review. I originally gave them 2 stars, but have increased it to 4 stars. The store is getting better, cleaner and the sales are good.

As expected...

This is by far the absolute worst supermarket. I don’t ever leave reviews but had to here. Since I’m from the neighborhood I’ve tried frequenting it a few times for the convenience of locality. However I will not go back. Multiple reasons. One, they are over priced. Two, they sell old or soon to be expired items. I noticed this after buying chicken which I noticed was spoiled when I got home to cook it. I didn’t even go back since I was grossed out. So I made it a point to never buy meat there again. Well today I went in there for fruit and this topped it for me. they have doors by the parking lots that seem to be convenient except apparently you can only enter them and not exit. (You used to be able to go in or out) well when I approached the register area to complain and advise that an ENTRY only sign should be placed up to inform. The supervisor acted uninterested and instead mocked me saying she can’t hear since I’m wearing a mask. Mind you I was speaking loud enough. Due to the unprofessional approach amongst the other reasons I will not give this place my money. I rather travel to a farmers market which is the best consumer choice.

That was my first time there. I went with my daughter that lives in the area. I was visiting my daughter and I needed Green Banana Leaves and Spanish Olives to finish making Pasteles. I found what I needed and more! Awesome place for your Spanish recipe needs! I recommend this place! I found it amazing that a Super Market with Spanish ingredients would be down this way! I'm glad! Thank you!
