Bethel Mini Storage

This is my experience:nOn Tuesday, June 26, 2018 I went to Bethel Storage and talked to Houston. He wrote down available units for me to look at since I have large trailers. He also told me about one big unit that would open up on July 2 so I could go look at that location also. I went back in and told him I would like the big unit when it opened. I offered to sign the paperwork and pay for 3 months at that time. He told me no. He told me to come back in on Monday afternoon and he would have it all ready for me. He assured me that it would be available and waiting on me. He assured me multiple times that he would not rent the unit to anyone else. I went in yesterday afternoon, July 2, ready to sign paperwork and pay for 3 months in advance. I was told they had already rented the unit. I was very upset and spoke to the manager of the property. He told me he would check into the situation and call me this morning, July 3.nHe called me this morning and told me the unit had been rented. The story Houston gave him was not even close to what really happened or what I was told. I was only given an option of renting other spaces.nI am remodeling/rearranging my house and will be buying new beds, mattresses, and some antiques for my home. I will not however be giving that business to this location. This saddens me that a local business is run in this manner.
