Golden City Chinese Restaurant

Pretty much the only chinese food place we go to. We were trying others when we first moved to the area, but we were tired of being disappointed. Food servings are large, taste is excellent, leftovers always keep well, and service is spot on.

Slow services. Have to wait more than 15 mins to get the food

Shrimp fried rice was tasteless...chicken and broccoli had no sauce and therefore could not enjoy the rice and the Fried wings were soft and not crispy. The food lacked flavor, I was extremely disappointed and wasted my money.

We’ve been living in the area for a while but finally decided to try this for takeout and definitely hit the spot. My go to is Sesame chicken and it was really good. I’ll be checking out the other items on the menu.

We live in Baltimore, but travel to New Jersey quite often for my son's taekwondo tournaments. We always stop for dinner after the tournaments. Last week, we tried Golden City Chinese.nnThe staff are very friendly and helpful. We had shrimp fried rice, bourbon chicken and chicken with mixed vegetables. All were fresh and really good. They seem to be more of a carry-out and delivery operation, as there are only two sit in tables. Highly recommended.
