Imperial Martial Arts

We can’t say enough about this amazing place! Master I and his sweet wife run a wonderful dojang and our boys’ experiences there have given them confidence and pride. Due to their program and the way it is run, our boys have been able to progress in areas such as self-esteem, strength of character and respect for others, all the while advancing in their belts and feeling a sense of accomplishment that comes from hard work and discipline. We have been so thankful for what they have given our family.

This place is the real life Miyagi-do! It’s a family run business that feels like a second family. My boys had endured some traumatic events so I brought them here as a way to manage their struggle. I have to say, after each and every session they would walk out standing taller and more proud. Master I is one of the best instructors/teachers I have ever seen and had always presented to my boys what a good strong leader looks like. His wife runs a tight ship there and she is always on the ball and such a bright presence to welcome you for each session. I noticed someone posted a one star review - I can’t imagine they really have anything to do with the school because every family there loves this place!

The IMA academy combines quality of instruction with concern for their students. The ‘family business’ vibe shines through. My children have changed in a very positive way since entering this martial arts academy.
