Rook Coffee

I’m not pleased with the service I just received. Apparently red bank has created a no straw ban which is fine. However usually establishments will have alternatives like a paper straw. This Rook didn’t. Then I went in my car and took and sip and so much coffee spilled out from the rim. I tried again and same thing. I went inside to tell the baristas and they said how everyone’s complaining about the faulty cups and they’re looking into getting new ones, but I could buy a reusable straw if I wanted. This is terrible business. If your cups are faulty and spilling the customer should NOT have to pay for a reusable straw after just paying $5+ Especially with no alternative!I had to drive to a gas station to get a straw. I have never been so annoyed at a coffee shop and the service it provided enough for me to write a review. They literally left you with zero options after buying a product from them. Not cool at all

Good quality quick coffee. No tables to sit or do work at. I think their coffee is expensive- but at least it is quality coffee. I do like that their coffee is Coffee and not filled with sweetners and added sugar. At times I find the ice coffee has a lot of ice and ends up watering down the coffee

The best in town

Coffee is normally good. I have found recently however, the quality appears to directly reflect the tip given. It I give the full suggested tip the coffee is always excellent. If I give no tip it is less than mediocre! Coincidence this happens every time? I think not!! Today's was so bad 3/4 got poured down the drain.

Friendly and quick! Good location if you want to grab a coffee and want around the town a bit.
