Very relaxing hike. I wouldn't want to do it after rain without good hiking shoes.
I took trail 3 route and there is a steep hill leading to a bridge that crosses into Rose Island . This was a vacationing island a while ago that was flooded out and reclaimed by nature. It is hollowing to see what little will remain of us when humans die out and the trees take root . There are a few structures still preserved and it is very informative of our ancestors and what they did for fun.
So disappointed,went two times to see something eye catching but all the ways were blocked.Gate man kept $8 without any reason
Decent trail. Not one of my favorites but nice and close to home.
