I can't say enough good things about Savarese BJJ. From the welcoming atmosphere to the top notch instructors to the variety of opportunities to train. It doesn't matter what level you are, you're treated with respect from the moment you get here. I signed myself, my wife and two daughters up earlier this year. My daughters are very shy but they feel at home here and look forward to going to class. Best move I've ever made. I just wish I'd done it sooner.

An amazing academy with outstanding professors, who work with you on an individual level to help you achieve what you look for in the sport of BJJ. I have had the pleasure of meeting outstanding people and great connections through this gym. Treated like part of a big loving family. Would recommend to anyone.

From the first day I felt like family. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful. The upper belts always find time to break things down and help out the lower belts. The school offers classes at a variety of different times to accommodate people’s schedules. Whether you’re looking to compete, better your fitness, or learn the most complete self defense system this school has it all. Professor Sav cares not only about your development as a BJJ practitioner, but your overall growth as a person. You will not find a better school to learn the true essence of BJJ.

Great place to learn.nnMy four kids ages 5 to 13, myself, and my 69 yr old father have been back training since reopening. No issues and we've never been better mentally and physically.nnThe emphasis on learning by teachers who have both a structured curriculum and adjust to each student’s goals and needs means you will get better on the mat for sure. Just show up and check it out.nnBut learning vs. always winning transfers off the mat. Conflicts and problems in both professional and personal life? Easier to deal with once your mind is trained and focused to recognize the issue, and begin solving the problem. Contrast that w/ an uncontrolled, emotionally filled reaction, only causing problems to escalate.nnBJJ’s lineage and current top competitors (Hoyler Gracie, Rafael Lovato are examples) grace the school’s mats.nnWe compared to many others. Not even close in facility size, cleanliness, and quality & philosophy of teaching.

I have trained in many different locations over the years when I did not live in NJ, but when I started at this academy, I found my second home. If you want to get in shape, this place will help you. If you want your children to learn confidence and focus, they will learn both. If you want to learn self-defense due to the current status of the world, Professor Sav can teach you. If you want to be a high level competitor, you can do this at this place for not only Professor Sav is one of the best, he regularly brings the best Martial Artists from around the world to his school. Multiple champions will be there! I have been training here for close to 12 years and when life's ups and downs and injuries (non-BJJ ones) kept me from training, I truly missed the camaraderie of this place.
