Local Coffee

Nice decor and good treats but the coffee was mediocre at best.nnEdit: not sure how to respond to the reply by the owner but I was at this location (Watchung in Montclair) on Wednesday April 10th 2021.nAdditionally I paid by credit card (transaction id: CiwKI01TQy4xMzMwMDA2MzQzMy40MDg0MjQyODcwOTE...).nnI paid for a cortado, a latte, and a almond croissant.nnThe cortado was over pulled and bitter. The croissant was excellent.nnMy friend had the latte and seemed to enjoy it.

This is “our spot” that we share with a lot of great locals. The first note is the coffee. The cold brew has ruined all others for me and has become the benchmark by which we measure all new shops. The owners are often active behind the counter and could not be more engaging and kind. You really do leave with a smile on your face and a great cup of coffee and a fresh made pastry delivered daily.

Cozy with very nice staff. Great little spot for a morning pick-me-up.
