Studied Maintenance here in 1998. I loved it here. The only thing that could have been better was the food service and medical care. David Rhodes and Jeff Sledge were awesome instructors who truly cared about their students and did all they could in order to help you. Dorm life was crazy and you had to keep everything locked up at all times. Great place to be if you're serious about learning a trade but please only come here if you're serious about improving your life!!!!!
Not the best place to be unless you can't afford college. I enjoy it at certain points. I've met plenty of teachers who care about the education of the students despite what some of the other students think. The only thing that isn't all that enjoyable is the lack of freedom we have. They keep us confined to the center at all times unless we get field trips to like Walmart and even then we are told what we can and can't get. Also have students who disrupt your education or makes it unbearable at times. DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOUR SERIOUS! Can not stress this enough. Don't come here thinking your going to find the girl you love or make great friends either. Also job Corp doesn't pay for your college they help you apply for financial aid. Don't listen to what the administrator counselor says about that he or she will lie point blank about that. Anyway it is a good place to invest your future in regardless of what happens here long as your motivated.
