Countryside Painting

Jack is an excellent worker ... fair, understanding and professional. He has worked for us for years in small ways, like cleaning the gutters, but his main task was painting the exterior of the house. His work was timely (depending on weather conditions) and efficient. We would most certainly ask him to work for us in the future, and have recommended him to friends.

Jack Thompson just finished our 2 week exterior paint project....3 months after he started!nHe would show up 1-2 days a week if we were lucky and work 4 hours a day max...after several texts and many broken promises By him that the job would be complete in a few days I gave up and waited until he finished.nMy mistake was not walking around the property with him before paying him the balance. The list of mistakes and unfinished spots are to lengthy to list here however I needed to pay another painter to fix his mistakes, because he would not honor is email construct and fix the issues.nNow I want to say I researched painters and he had pretty decent reviews, not sure what has happened from then and now but they do not hold true at this time!nHis prices are fair but save yourself the troublenand move on! You will save yourself a tremendous amount of trouble.nnJune 29th,nIn response to you I am sure that is what you would like people here to think, butnI can assure you that my review had absolutely nothing to do with you hiring a family member or not because I had no knowledge of what you are talking about.nMy review was based on the service you provided, or lack there of, I can add pictures of The areas that you left unfinished if you like?nAnd as far as you coming back to fix the issues,nDid you came back to fix the issues I discussed in our conversation?, and that answer is No....if I ran a business and a customer told me that they were unhappy I would be back to rectify the situation.nWhile you were working here, I do not recall a day you worked more than 5 hours, you were sloppy, you left coffee cups, your shirts all over our front yard in more than one occasion, you never put any of your equipment away, you got paint all over our lawn.nBottom line is you did a lousy job, you did not prime the house before you started painting, you did not put a second coat on the front of the house, and hopefully this review persuades someone to get another estimate.

Jack did excellent working painting my homes entryway! It was a very high faulted ceiling in which he did a fantastic job on as well as the trim work.nOn time and very professional. I plan on using him again when the time is needed.nI would HIGHLY recommend!

We have had two painting projects done by Jack. The first a front porch and side porch. Very good value and well done. The second was a smaller job of painting exterior doors. Jack was awesome to fit us into his schedule at the last minute and he worked to get the job done before the snow hit!

We have used Countryside on several occasions. He does great work, is very clean and organized. And, he shows up when he says he will. The price is always fair. Jack is our preferred painting contractor.
