Market Basket

I appreciate being able to shop at one of the best family run grocery store chains in New England.nnYes, there are other grocery stores competing for our hard earned money.nnI continue to return to Market Basket.nnYou DO get more for your dollar at Demoulas Market Basket!nnThe organic, gluten-free, and ethic selection have been increasing over the past couple of years.nnThe grocery isles maybe a little crowded due to the Grocery Associates (wearing a Blue Jackets) who are restocking the shelves.nnIf there isn't a Grocery Associate in in your isle, there is always a Manager (wearing a red jacket) around to answer any questions we, as customers might have.nnThere is the occasional cashier that might be having a off day. Who doesn't have a off day?nnI have yet to have vegetable cans on top of my eggs and/or bread.nMaybe I have been lucky.nnThank you for reading this review!

It's nice to see a store that's still old school. I don't generally shop here but they accepted a check when my debit card broke and it was quite easy too. I actually got a Market Basket check cashing card in the mail! I didn't think any stores still had those.. lol.. it was nice and clean and even tho it was extremely busy people were doing their best to keep social distancing in play. Thank you Market Basket fort helping me in my moment of need!!

Didn't have my pantene tomato paste, went there just for that. Very unhappy.

Let me tell you why the ft. Eddy plaza is my favorite market basket.nnToday while I was shopping, management stopped production to honor the longevity and retirement of one of their own. They held a brief ceremony at the front of the building, spoke of their time there, how they impacted the building and others, and then applauded the. As they clocked out for their last time.nnIt was the most touching thing I’ve ever seen for an employee.nnAlso produce is fresh, meats are good, building is clean! But, nothing says as much as witnessing how an employer treats the employees.
