Ira Pre-Owned Exeter

My wife has been using this dealership for vehicle inspections. She could go to vip and get it free being military but the service department is above and beyond excellent. My wife has been taking her vehicle there for 3 yrs and she always tells me how nice they treat her and respectful. So I will go there. Also they are respectful to her vehicle which is important being a clean freak. I can not comment on sales but as far as service department, she praises them. I have been there once last year and the service guy was extremely polite.

DO NOT BUY A CAR HERE!!!! They are lieing thieves I would never buy a car here again . I am a single hard working father and they blatantly lied to me about the condition of the vehicle. I'm in the market for a new car now because the one I bought from IRA less then a year ago for $9,000$ and spent an additional 3,000 dollars to fix and had the work done at Ira twice. Had to use my AAA to tow it in. The 100000mile powertrain warranty somehow didnt apply to me. After a week. and loosing all that money on my landscaping salary has financialy set me back. They knew the vehicle had recalled the piston rings because they added oil after every test drive so potential buyer's (myself) would not see the oil light come on. It was an obvious problem any competent mechanic would find but it did not show up in car facts because it was never fixed.It drove great for three days and I didn't know anything was wrong until I had to add a quart of oil every day.I called IRA and never got a call back. I never should have put my trust and my financial future in the hands of such greedy, liars. I needed a reliable vehicle and instead was sold a dangerous, recalled, lemon and I'm still paying for it. Dont be there next victim and if your still thinking of buying from IRA have another qualified mechanic inspect it before you give them a dime. Funny how mr coco the owner didnt leave me his phone number like on other people's reviews they got me for 10grand and are laughing all the way to the bank. The only good reviews are from people using the service department not in sales. They dont care who they screw over and have no intention of making it right. Dont waist your time and money drive a min down the road to a real dealership that know when a car is broken beyond repair.

I didn’t buy a car here or anything remotely close. My car got a flat tire right across the street from this place at the Mobil gas station and this nice Brazilian man I believe his name was Ricardo, from the service shop noticed me struggling and came over to help switch my flat with my donut tire. I couldn’t thank him enough, that man deserves a raise.

Too difficult to get ahold of and too slow and unclear in responses. I understand the situation our community is in with the pandemic. But, I was willing to work with them and consider buying a car from them. They did not seem interested in working with me. I was often told I would get a response in a certain time frame and did not. Their rates are also not well in line with the value of the vehicles. I did address my concerns via email and did not get a response.nEdited to add: I do see the super canned response from the manager. I assume this is due to the public forum here, as he never did respond to my email written before the review. I assume if he truly cared about my business, he would reach out to me rather than feeling content that he asked me to reach out to him.
