I have been to many gyms all over the northeast. I went to check out this gym to see what's available in the area. Way overpriced for what they offer. There's a $40 extra fee every April for maintenance which is fine, but what does it go towards? All the equipment looks 20 years old and in need of repairs. There is a lack of equipment. I know plenty of small gyms that offer way more. The monthly fees just went up for new equipment but isn't that what the $40 in April is for? Save yourself the money and just go to Planet Fitness.

I joined The Zone over a year ago.nnAs a serious lifter I found myself in a “corporate” gym for far too long...I lost a lot of motivation.nnThe Zone has the vibe of a hardcore gym. Many of the members are serious, the equipment is excellent and the staff and owner are top notch.nnSome gyms may have a cheap monthly fee and maybe The Zone seems expensive, well you get what you pay for.nnDon’t short change your body.

Decent gym considering the lack of options in the area. The big turf area is great and the place is pretty roomy in general. The morning staff may or may not show up to unlock the doors which has happened a few times. There's a yearly maintenance fee of $60-70 that goes towards god knows what. This year it seemed to be a set of string lights for the studio...
