Beautiful place. Definitely going back in the summer.

Extraordinary peaceful place to put in a kayak. All around you is filled with nature and nature sounds. Very few people here, very few houses on the side. The water scene clean and although there is a current, it's not very strong. Typically I kayak Upstream for a while and then use the current to get back. There was almost no difference in going upstream and downstream although the slight current was enough to help me relax. Must be a good place for fishing, there were a number of people fishing although nobody seemed to be catching much.

A very nice NH wayside. Covered bridge. Easy parking. Boat/canoe launch. Much larger body of water than visible from the road. No swimming area that I know of. Over fished like all of NH, but fun to try.

I was here early morning and someone was fishing in the ajacent pond. It made for a great shot!
