Very family friendly and beginner friendly. I had never skied before so I came here knowing it was a good easy place to start. I took a beginner adult lesson with Joyce and she was fantastic, I loved her. She was so friendly and was able to teach very well and efficiently. By the end of the hour lesson I felt confident enough to get on the lift and ended up skiing the green circle trails all day! King Pine is very affordable compared to other mountains but of course it is smaller and lots more kids. All staff was great. Everybody was wearing masks.

My 5 year old son participated in Knee High (Learn to Ski) 4 week program during the month of February and early March.nnOverall it was good. The instructors were nice. But my son had 4 different instructors at each of the 4 lessons- a new instructor each week. It wasn’t because the previous instructors weren’t there- due to illness or quarantine (which would be understandable). Rather, we saw his previous instructors assigned to private lessons at the same time as his group lesson.nnAlso, at the start of each lesson, my son and the other ski students had to be assessed again to see how to split the groups into different skill levels. None of the instructors or Ski school leadership kept track of which kids were in which level group from one week to the next.nnWe rented skis each week and the return of the skis (when we were leaving the mountain) always proved difficult as we had to wait in the same line as people renting skis (and arriving for the half day afternoon pass). The front desk had told us that there was a separate window for returns, but this wasn’t actually the case.

Fair pricing. Not too large a mountain if you know your way around snow, but incredible for learning or small cheap trips. Absolutely no lines for me, wasn't busy at all. Came at 12:00 Monday february break & got third row parking. Quickest walk ever to the lifts. The staff at the online ticket booth was very nice. Had an amazing experience, thanks for the fun day of skiing.

First of all. It was great being back at the ski mountain I spent so many nights at during high school. I revisited 30 years later to go cross country skiing at King Pine with my family. The service and price were excellent. The rental shop gave me some pointers to the flatter section of trail. The trail was not in great shape. Ungroomed and icy. For my learning wife and daughter a real challenge. Even a challenge for me. The trail around the lake ended below the resort and we had to walk on that narrow road back. Maybe it would be better with nicer snow conditions. King Pine may not be the place for beginners in regards to cross country skiing. Would of love to hit the downhill slopes again though! Excellent downhill learning spot.

First time doing any type of winter vacationing activity in NH (even though it was tubing) and the experience was amazing. The attendants were nice and informative with laughs and smiles!, paths and walking areas were neatly maintained and each area was designated with music to keep the moods and party going! I have never been to a ski mountain or area like such and it was simply breathtaking and relaxing!
