LOTS of stickers and goat heads... my poor puppy HAD to stay on the walkways, otherwise his paws were instantly covered with stickers. Otherwise, quiet with clean restrooms.
The restroom and shower facilities were kept clean and well stocked. The tent pads were generously spaced with individual eating area and shelter, there were fire pits with grates.
Visited in late September, open year-round which is good. Was secluded and peaceful during the off-season. Clean facilities, which was important because I needed a shower after being on the road. My shower didn't warm up, but my travel partner's did. View was pretty nice, sunset was beautiful.
Great little area, awesome scenery, nice hike up the hill. Camping community is an unexpected pleasure.
We've visited twice now and love our time here. To be honest, the beach is definitely not the greatest and can have lots of flies/clay-mud over sand. However, the reservoir itself is stock piled with fish and rarely crowded! Additionally, it's not far outside of town and there is rarely traffic. Will continue to return !
