Took the new to us travel trailer for the weekend, we stayed in lakeside campground with 30A hookup. Overall the park was very nice, the ranger was very helpful when I rolled up at 9PM, and picked me a great camping spot for my Wife and I, and our 4 dogs.nnThe RV dumping station was easy to get to, and had working black and clean water separately placed, we would for sure come back for another weekend.

Love the horse area! They need disinfectent inside the restrooms however sugested.

The end of September, on a Tuesday, we had an entire campground to ourselves. This is a large county park. Our camp, Riverside, snuggles up to the Platte. The campgrounds are specialized. Ours had no hookups or water, which was fine for us. Cottonwood had a pump and showers, which we enjoyed in the morning.

Great park. Good camping areas and well maintained. Lots of fishing options including trout lake and the Platte River. Good swimming lake and consession area with great workers and great service. Overall a great experience.
