I have been to the Trail of Terror a number of times and back in 2010-2012 the trail was amazing. It was an actual thrill, fun, scary, everything you pay for. When we last went, a couple of years ago, it was not the same...actors were busy talking amongst themselves...the trail was bare....the overall atmosphere was not fun or scary. It was very disappointing!! I miss the bus ride you would have to take from the parking lot over to the field. :)
Long lines for everything usually. Otherwise the big haunted house was a good one. Other than that it's pretty uneventful
It had one long indoor exhibit that was very good, the rest were just okay. The trail wasn't worth the insanely long line.
Was actually pretty impressed with this! We attended on a Friday during a storm of snow incoming, so was pretty empty maybe around 100-200 people, BUT you can totally see why it is so much fun. Plenty of mazes, One SUPER Epic big maze. Karaoke stage in the middle was pretty fun as well. Indoor heated tent area with the bar was a nice spot to hang out as well.nnMight of enjoyed this more then Valley Scare =D
This was pretty okay. Like all these things, get there early. Waiting in long lines will definitely not make it worth it. We enjoyed the maze, but would have appreciated more actors. It was mostly walking around dark corners anticipating scares that never came. But it looked cool and we had some laughs (does anyone actually think any of these things are scary? We just like to be surprised and jump/scream a bit). Beware of lots of smoke and strobe lights. Strobes don’t usually affect me, but there was one spot where I literally couldn’t walk straight and kept asking if the floor was moving. I feel like they rely heavily on obstructing your vision as much as possible, which I find fun (not knowing what’s in front of you.) The little trailers aren’t anything special but again, good for a laugh when someone does manage to surprise you. The wood walk was the last thing we did and for sure got too crowded. But the weather was decent and we enjoyed the scenery. I think this is probably most fun if you are around 10-14 years old. I doubt we’ll ever go again, but it was an okay way to spend an evening, and tickets are cheaper than similar events.
