An amazing and easy fire tower full of great views of the big lake and surrounding area! One of the most accessible in the state too!

Closed due to COVID-19. There's no indication on the website that it is closed neither nor anyway to contact anyone in advance to determine if it is open. So, figuring it is in a state park and outside, I thought it'd be available to the public. Wrong.

We went while the leaves were changing. Great view. Don't try if scared of heights! Will for sure go again

It is really cool to be able to climb this observation tower. It is quite a climb and the stairs are a bit steep, but the view at the top is well worth it. At the top you find yourself above the tops of the trees and you can see the lakes all around you, including an incredible view of Mille Lacs Lake. I highly recommend checking it out.
