It was empty! Zero people! It's a bit out in the middle of nowhere but that's part of what makes it awesome. I bought the annual state park pass for a whopping $35 and I'll be visiting this one again soon. Nice groomed hiking trails. A river and a hill for winter sledding.

Old Mill State Park is the smallest state park in Minnesota. Loved the stone bridge and the suspension bridge which spans the Middle River. There is a very unique park entrance sign. The beach is nice. There is a settlers cabin which is awesome to see. Gives a person a glimpse into the life of early settlers. Take a self-guided tour of the Agassiz trail. Loved this little park.

Small, open campground with plenty of hiking trails off of the picnic area and campground. Made for a great fall camping trip.

Old Mill State Park is a well maintained park. It has good hiking trails and a nice little swimming hole and beach.
