What can I say about this place? Drama guy. The guy who manages the front office is definitely dramatic. He is a great guy, but he is definitely dramatic. He knows his stuff about cars and can help you out with whatever you need. He also is willing to drop what he's doing to help you. He definitely cares about his job and will do whatever he has to in order to see that you are taken care of. I highly recommend this place because of drama guy and his service. Not to mention, they are very good at cars. They know their stuff. Great place! Yes Tunex, this is definitely a positive review! The front office man is fantastic and so knowledgeable!!! Highly recommended!!!

Ryan and Doc were phenomenal and really are a pinnacle of the industry. Ryan scheduled an appointment right away for me and was able to figure out what was wrong and get the repair done in a few hours. When I came back to pick it up, he walked me through the work he had done and pointed out where the failure had occurred. He spent at least 30 minutes explaining to me the specifics of my car's engine as to why he's seen similar issues, and showed me where to look for signs of other common issues in my older Subaru. I drove away feeling confident in Ryan's great work and a little more knowledgeable about my (now smoothly-running) car.

These guys are doing a great job. I went in with my engine light on after seeing good reviews. I wasn't disappointed. They got the part I needed quickly, didn't charge me for labor. They also took care of a wiper fluid leak at no cost, and gave me a discount for working in healthcare. When I went to pick up my car they handed out some masks and stuff as well. I'd definitely go there again.

I have not been to a car mechanic place (Jiffy Lube/Tunex/etc) for a very long time. Ryan and Doc at the Sandy Tunex have forever changed my perception of the mechanic industry- they are honest and forthright- no hidden agendas. If something is amiss with the car they inform you- if it doesn’t need anything- they’re honest about it. They go beyond the mark to give you the information you need to make knowledgeable decisions about the needs of your vehicle and they do it in order of priority. Their prices are fair and reasonable. They evaluated a car we were considering purchasing that we (as the consumer/novice) could find absolutely nothing wrong with it. Ryan went under the car and showed us a split and re-welded frame- which highly impacts the cars safety and ability to release the airbags. Something we wouldn’t have even thought to look for. With so much uncertainty in the world today it was fantastic to have a solid evaluation. Tunex in Sandy is now our “go-to” for the needs of our vehicles! Much gratitude for your integrity and assistance!!

Just got my Subaru back after it being in shop for a few days, and I have to say that this is the only shop I will take my car to from now on. I initially brought my car in for an AC check as my AC wasn't working (which he fixed) but Ryan found other major issues that he highly recommended get repaired. I appreciate that he called me down to the shop to show me what issues he found, explained the process to repair, and answered all questions without judgment. Ryan is definitely a Subaru specialist and knows what he's doing. He has the customer's safety and best interest in mind, but without the pressure. I highly recommend him for all your car repairs, you will not be disappointed!
