What happened to human interaction? I thought credit unions were supposed to be more personal. Apparently I should have stayed at Wells Fargo.
I have an account with Wings and went in to apply for a personal loan to consolidate my credit card debt. I’ve been paying well over the minimum payment every month and thought a personal loan would be better. I believe Diane helped me out I can’t remember her name exactly. I gave her my info then proceeded to the waiting area to be picked up. Five minutes go by and the last customer to her knowledge walks out of the building. She then made an insulting comment about my occupation status to her coworker. After hearing that I walked out of the building. I then decided it was best to cancel my application through Wings and took my business elsewhere. Happy I did because I was notified the same day that I was approved.
No human tellers any longer. Just an automated kiosk. Very impersonal and weird. Maybe it's the way things are going... Also, inquired about a home equity loan a while back. They sent an appraiser. They got my number of bedrooms and square footage wrong. Twice. I went elsewhere. Every other loan I have gotten was convenient and easy. Been a member for ever. Decent overall but could be better.
Michael today spoke down to me as I was trying to open an account. The worst part was that he did so in an open room full of other customers. He went over my personal information in such a rude manner that I will have to let others know about this. Absolutely horrific customer service.
We walked in with no appointment to talk to a loan officer. We did not have to wait long to see someone. He was friendly, knowledgeable and took time to answer all of our questions.
