This is the best storage facility that I have ever used! Dave is unbelievably responsive and friendly. The rates are great and renting and termination was PAINLESS!
BEWARE OF FLOODING!!! I rented out a unit at the Gopher State facility to store my Mercedes during the winter. The first year wasn't bad because there was plenty of open space for the snow to be plowed to. Now the entire area has rows of units and no place for the snow. I had to chisel out my car from 4 inches of ice after spending half a day chiseling out the door just to open the unit. It appears to be built in swamp land which also doesn't help. I tried leaving a one-star review on their web site but it won't allow negative reviews and will automatically give the company 5 stars. try it yourself!
The units are getting flooded twice a year. Not just ours, the neighbors, and other rows, too.nTheir insurance wont cover it, not even the extended one, we tried.nThey don't credit it, we tried.nIf you must use it, put everything on pallets, and pray the water won't reach higher.nThere is no snow removal, and the doors are frozen to the ice on the ground during winter, their solution: putting up signs they are not responsible if you hurt yourself trying to get access to your unit.
