Today (03/02/21)I ordered a classic family pack here. The meat is not at all fresh. both the brisket and pulled pork in my order was cold and dry, both tasted as if they were made a few days ago . I wish I cooked something fresh home myself, instead of wasting a lot of money and also spoiling my birthday family lunch. never going back there again!
We were excited about the variety of options and the prospect of a new BBQ place. Ordered the rib platter with mac and onion tanglers, partner got the brisket sandwich, fries and mac. Our sides were fine, fries and tanglers were great. Mac was just there, haven't found a good mac and cheese in a while. Partner liked his sandwich. Ribs were inedible. It was the end of the night so maybe that's why but they were jerky. Made my stomach hurt. Called up and asked if I could get them replaced or refunded, something. Person that answered shouts to his manager that I'm complaining about the ribs and when the manager comes in he says he will refund the rib platter. I said I'd pay for the sides I just couldn't eat the ribs. He said no he would refund the whole platter. I gave it a few days and I still haven't been refunded. We won't be back again. Not worth the price of not knowing if we will get fresh food or the food that has been sitting all day.
Got some coupons in the mail so decided to give this place a try. What a fiasco. First couldn’t find a way to use the coupons online. Called to place the order, was told I they were only taking online orders. So much for the coupons. Upon arrival I was met with blank stares as they had no record of my order. After some digging, they found it and scrambled to pull it together. After a short wait on was on my way knowing full well I was playing restaurant Russian roulette. Sure enough a sandwich was missing from the order. The sides were there so they clearly saw it on the order. Needless to say, I’ll be sticking to Mission BBQ from on.
Food was delicious. Customer service was excellent!! First impression was great, ill definitely be coming back and telling everyone bout yall!
