My husband and I used this facility to store our furniture and belongings for 2 1/2 years while we transitioned to our new home. The staff here has always been professional, friendly, and considerate. We have both spoke with Amber repeatedly on the phone and in person, and she has been helpful and genuine every time.nTheir responsiveness to our needs when changing payment info was quick, discreet, and understanding.nThe facility is clean, well maintained, and secure. The indoor units looked exactly the way we left them, every single time we looked in on them. We always trusted that our belongings were safe and were never let down. I would not hesitate to recommend this facility to anyone!
I've been renting storage for a few years there, and had friends rent there and I must say that Hannah and Amber are top notch very knowledgeable, helpful and treat you like family I highly recommend this place.
Good Storage Unit. Clean & Safe environment.
I wish I could give more than 5 stars. When my husband and I were looking for storage units over a year ago, it was evident almost immediately that this one would best meet our needs. We visited two other downriver storage places, but this facility was the nicest looking and had the most helpful staff by far. Another big plus for 1-800-Self-Storage was the use of the move-in truck. The closest thing the other places offered was a small discount on renting a truck from somewhere else. Amber specifically has been a huge help to us-- patiently answering questions and working hard to give us the best deal when we first rented and now as we've transitioned to a different storage unit. There was never any pressure to make a decision. I will be glad when one day we no longer need a storage unit, but until then, I'm comfortable and satisfied with leaving my belongings here.
It's ok I just had an experience where some kind of animal entered in my storage bin and it chewed up my sofa tore it up.nI had insurance and Insurance is an option but it's was hard to work with the insurance to pay up. but either way the place is a storage place and I never had any bad experience with the people working there
