Great loop to hike around the lake. There is a beach and a playground. I think you're supposed to pay an entrance fee? The only reason I'm docking a star is that there is SOOOO much goose poop on the trail, you can't not step in it.
This is one of the only lakes around our house. People come from the Grand Rapids area to swim here. Also, the lake has a path around it for walking. We've had fun fishing here and there are modern toys for the kids.
The lawn and beach are very well maintained. The trail has lots of geese poop but they have a bunch of ducks and geese. This lake is better cared for then Lake Michigan beaches.
Great park, a local hidden gem!
Rented kayaks for the family, lots of fun. Don't rent the paddle boats, too much work.
