This place has nice clear paths to walk. We just visited March 2021. The viewing platform that is under the bridge hardly has a line of sight to falls. The foliage is thick. It was a beautiful walk and we wouldn't mind returning in the fall when the leaves have fallen.

Agate falls is a scenic beauty with view from various points. It is located nearby to Houghton. One need to hike down a little to go to the falls base to see a proper view of the falls. There are 2 other points one from the bridge right above the falls and the view point in the way down to see the falls. It's a must go place and I enjoyed the place a lot.

Fast flowing river & large active waterfall despite being winter. Worth the hike downhill since parking area is closed for season. Prob go back on next trip hopefully in spring/summer

The trail to the falls is really short, easy but beautiful. You can go to the bridge above the waterfall or go down to the waterfall but that requires a little bit more than just easy walking. The waterfall itself is really pretty and I loved the view of it from the bridge as it's hidden in the middle of green forest.

For what views you could see I would have given 5 stars. However, the forest management of this park is horrible. Hard to see around all the overgrowth and very limited views all along the trail. Typical over emphasis on letting 'nature' just take over. Kind of like how California just let all their forests and Parks go that route and now they are just turning into fire hazards and in most cases charred remains of what was once very beautiful.
