Watched a man fly his large model airplane with such skill. He was awesome! Even took the dog on a walk through the trails. Can't wait to go back.
It's a great field usually no ones is there which is the when you want to be there!
This is a private club that leases the property from the state park. They never force anyone to join the club and never make anyone help with the field maintenance. All they ask is that if you want to fly one of your own aircraft that you at least have the AMA insurance to protect yourself and the club. For those that are thinking of getting into the hobby, this insurance is not required as long as you are flying with one of their instructors on a buddy box system. They even have their own trainer airplanes to take people up free of charge. Excellent club and very nice people.
This is an AMA radio controlled airplane club. Good people. Good times. You can even learn to fly here.
