It has such a warm and loving atmosphere.
What a beautiful shul.nA pleasure to Daven here
This is a great shul.nnAs you can see, they have a newly remodeled Beit Midrash. And that includes a huge, imposing Aron Kodesh.nnAlpha Male Rav=Rabbi Kostelitz, below.nnYou can't see it clearly, but his glasses are shaped hexagonally-- like benzene rings. Those and the million dollar shtreimel are an unstoppable combination.nnBehind him is mechitza glass that is see through on the women's side, but looks like The Kotel on the men's side.nnI would describe the place as Right-wing Modern Orthodox. The rabbi is Haredi (but warm and friendly-- an oxymoron, if ever there was one!), and there are a mix of different types of Orthodox sects who go here. (For example, our Shabbat Torah chanter is Modern Orthodox.)nnThe best shul in Greater Detroit.
Wonderful mix of different orthodox sects. Davening is Nusach Sefard. Rabbi K. is an amazing individual.
