This is the worst maintained fitness center I have ever been in. And I've belonged to a lot in my life. The shower curtain had black mold on it. And the curtain was torn. The handheld shower was broken when I joined in January and it is still broken. If they aren't cleaning the bathrooms then I bet they aren't cleaning the rest of the gym either. Unfortunately I changed insurance so this is where I have to go now. This is the LAF on Big Beaver in Troy.
The members and staff are doing great with COVID protocols. I feel very safe. Cycle class on Monday night is awesome.
Best LA Fitness around. Clean and spacious. It’s nice people/staff actually take time to re rack the weights here, too.

Today was the first day that I attempted to go to the gym to workout and I regretted it the moment that I walked in. Although I was pleased to see bottles of sanitizer and people socially distancing, I was not pleased to see that nearly 75% of the gym patrons were not wearing proper masks. Rather they had their masks lowered or not present at all. It didn't appear that the staff was enforcing the law to mandate mask wearing. It is truly a shame.
