Played this course earlier this week. Outstanding layout with wonderful views of Lake Barkley and marinas on the front nine. Fairways were great. Greens were in very good condition, although just a little slower than I like. The only thing preventing this from being a 5 star review is the sand traps. The traps have rusty looking red sand with a LOT of rocks in the traps. You really need to go against the rules of golf and move the ball around in the sand and avoid rocks. Still, I highly recommend this course. Just avoid the sand traps. :)
We wiggled our way to the waterside. We loved the variety of plants and the fabulous sunset. Hung out with some trees, wondered about a cluster of insects in the water, and played on the dock.
Nice campground. Clean. RV spots very close and no privacy, didn't check out tent area.
Course was good but we came on a sunday and they were really busy, wished they would spred out the tee times better, everyone was on top of each other and waiting alot every hole, we left after 14 holes, it was so backed up every hole that it would have took 2 to 3 hours to finish.
