Our family loves Hiking here. Several trails that connect for varying distances. Pretty wooded area and creek bed with water and fish in some areas. Moderate elevation on some trails but not too difficult. Trails well marked and maps at trail heads and throughout at various check points. Recommend tick prevention and checks after hiking here though.
Nice place to get out...only downside is that slow internet access
I visited the park today for the first time in some years. Attending a Chamber of Commerce Event featuring Western Kentucky Congressman James Comer this morning at the park's Convention Center.nnTruly a nice park with LOTS of green space, trails for hiking and biking.nnPlenty of ball field space as well as an outdoor basketball court and plenty of picnic pavilions with grills.nnGreat place, truly, to bring the whole family for; fun, relaxation, fresh air and/or exercise.nnI highly recommend it.nnJust minutes from the big intersection at 64 & 93 by the Outlet Mall!nnSee you there.
Not much to say about it. But Lake Barkley is nice. Tourists are great but the locals suck
