Close. Can walk there from the house. Lots of room to social distance. Rent a kayak and swim. Picnic, too.

Not a bad lake to go kayaking in you have 3 other lakes if you want to go and explore.

Close to home, well maintained, I've lived in or around Vandercook for 66 years and it's a nice park, there should be pictures of how the park looked before the fire, so the kids could get a idea of how it was way back when. When street cars used to bring people to the park, and how large it was, but now it's only about the 8th of the size it was then.
