Too much rain and mosquitos were terrible! But loved boating and kayaking! Nice lake! Beach area was nice but needed raking and cleaning-- full of bird poop! Love camping here! Quiet and peaceful!
Even with the picnic tables and some restrooms closed.. We had fun.. CALL ahead if you plain to have party's and cook outs.. Reserve the pavilion areas.. Nice place
Clean quiet and peaceful. Just how I enjoy my camping experiences. Plan to buy wood at the guard building you're not allowed to bring your own nor scavenge for wood and twigs within the area.
I feel like the pictures don't do this place justice. It's not spectacular or anything, but it's really quaintly pleasant! I've camped here 3 times and it's always clean and chill.
Such a gem....great disc golf course!
