There are two ways to get to the pond, you can take the nature trail Wich is very nice or you can take electric Park Rd to get behind it for a different experience
Shelter with picnic benches, good for family day trips
This is a little gem off Hwy 41 just south of the road to the airport. There is a nice pavillion with 4 picnic tables, hooks for lanterns, outhousr and 3 benches. There is a floating platform that extends out into Boston Pond so you can sit and observe the aquatic plants and animals. There is also a short trail that leads through a few vegetation types.
A beautiful trail and views await here. Ideal for a short nature hike or to spend a bit more time. There is a laminated book displayed at intervals along the trail which is great to encourage younger kids!
What a beautiful park. And the water was so clear. I loved this place
