My family has been customers of the Swartz Creek location for about five years now and they just lost our business as of 1-28-20. A new employee named Theresa (older lady with redish hair) refused to sell me smokes that I buy there every day (Marlboro Lights special select). She even made fun of my stuttering by saying No with a stutter back at me. I thought she was just kidding but then she told me she could not sell anyone that brand of cigarettes the rest of the night because a lady with an expired license tried buying the same brand. She then accused me of trying to buy them for this mysterious lady that was no where to be seen. There was just me and a lady behind me in line at this time. The rest of the staff are sweet people but this lady is down right mean. I cant believe she made fun of me. Anyhow they lost about a $1,000/week in sales as my whole family fills up, buys lottery and beer there. Speedway will get that money now. Good job Theresa...you actually hurt my feelings.
Not open 24 hours!
Hot grill items and cold deli selections, coffee, pop, beer, great selection of snacks, locally-made jerky and sausages, knick knacks, etc. Good location, only gas station for miles, definitely useful.
Extremely rude service. Roy would not sell me my usual pack of cigarettes because I had a VALID temporary license (doesn't expire until September) ATTACHED to my license because I had to renew it. Obviously staff are not trained properly.
