Great place to bring your family to! Beach is clean. Water isn't mucky. Bathrooms are clean and there are quite a few of them! My 6 year old was really happy there was a bench she could sit on while she changed. Plenty of grassy area where the many grills are. Nice playground, but roped off due to covid right now. Nice fishing area too! We plan to go again next weekend!
I've been coming here for a couple years. Started off on the dog friendly side now I switched from side to side depending on who I'm with. Recently I've been visiting w my puppy and enjoying watching the sunset. Keep up the good work rangers!
A great hidden gem. Very clean and well maintained county facility. I recommend that you arrive early. The crowd starts to pick up around noon to 1 pm.
I wrote, a not so friendly review of this Park 2 years ago. I have since deleted it. I have totally changed my mind about this place. It's my go to place now! I love it! I fish, kayak, swim, and walk around this Beautiful place, you see wildlife, birds, Even Pheasants! Great, Family Friendly environment!
This park has great picnic tables swith tree shade and a BBQ grills at each one.
