This is one of my favorite local parks. When I want to feel far away, but I don't have time to drive very far, I go to Riverview. There are many picnic and parking areas along the river. You can walk the paved road or head off to the back corner for a wooded trail. It is a hidden treasure for bird watching!
Such a beautiful place to go eat lunch!
Riverview Park is a gorgeous space with a baseball field, boat launch, charcoal grills, covered shelters, picnic tables, a couple of playgrounds, bathrooms, and a lodge that can be rented, all in a park right on the Saint Joseph river. Due to the high water levels currently, large areas of the park are under water, including the baseball diamond.
Caught my eye as we traveled through town, had to stop because...well I love Cemeteries
Great park- reserved pavilion for a memorial service - excellent place to hold it
