This historic place is Serene with natural beauty all around. Easily marked trail make it easy to navigate . This place is truly a little treasure chest waiting for you to find it.

Stumbled across this park and it is delightful. Trails and a train! Very cool. Plus it has a boat launch, but I don't have a boat so that is a bummer.

This is a great stop for a brief nature walk. The boardwalk is nice and there are a number of educational placards along the way to share a little extra information about the area and its history. Worth the stop.

At about the halfway point between Fennville and Saugatuck, you'll stumble upon New Richmond - one of those cities in the 1800s that never really took off and is lost to the pages of history. Yet this park is somehow able to keep it alive. At the center of this park lies the 57th Street Bridge, an iron swing bridge that dates back to 1879 - one of the oldest in our country. And what was really surprising is the waters of the Kalamazoo River are clear here, not muddy and gross like you typically find. When coming here you'll find many other surprises and so much to do too! Discover the history of New Richmond, walk the kiddy trail of 0.63 miles, find the perfect fishing spot, have a riverside picnic, or put a boat in the water at this amazing park!
