Rest your worried soul. I took my kids out of public school because they were tutoring other kids too much and not being challenged. Two years later, my kids haven't tutored any one once and they are on a more appropriate curriculum. They have a separate music teacher, separate gym teacher, separate Spanish teacher, that the whole school is entitled to, not just certain grades. The bathrooms don't have graffiti, or kids that clog sinks and toilets for fun. The exterior doors lock during school hours and you have to push a buzzer then look into a camera to gain entrance by indoor staff. Plenty of parents who are friendly, as in, life long friends- staff included. No more battles in the wee hours of the morning over inappropriate clothes because there are heavy duty uniforms! Learning about religion is not a big deal, it's just the Bible. Lunches are nourishing with a fruit and veggie bar and if your child is extra hungry they are welcomed to choose a second menu item. The architecture is warm and personifies a school not a state correctional facility. They just won a fancy award for being an eco friendly school with recycling bins everywhere. They have a fun after school programs for parents that work late. Little Blessings for under 5, is affordable and easily accommodates parents schedules. I always feel good dropping my kids off in the mornings. Update 03/11/2020: Still at this school, still love it. My oldest graduated 8th and is doing well at Juan Diego. He made it into many advanced classes because of his education at Blessed. The lunches now have a bonafide chef and my kids love their meals. They've added an archeology club (they do REAL archeology around the state), robotics club, elective cooking lessons from the school chef for middle school, a really awesome school play, they should be getting solar panels soon, the athletics, like basketball and volleyball, are equal to competitive rec leagues, refillable water station/water fountains, list goes on and on. I only wish there was a higher participation and volunteer rate from the parents. It seems there's a handful of parents that do everything. I can say, that I when I volunteer or spend money at the school I know it directly benefits my kids, also benefits everyone else's kid too but, I've seen my investments increase my child's quality of schooling -believe me, you have no idea where your money or your effort is going with public school. I know people work, but most of the people on HSA (like PTA but Home and School Association) have full time jobs. Still a good school. I wish more people would consider this school if they are looking for a formal education in and around Sandy.

I am honored to be a part of the Blessed Sacrament family as both a teacher and a parent!

Absolutely adore this school! My son has attended 3 year old pre-school with Mrs Smith & she is just as sweet as can be! Pre-K With Mrs. Luna, Who is by far one of our favorite teachers so far, & currently in Kindergarten with Mrs. Benchoff! This school goes above & beyond to make sure all students are happy, never left out, & they are just over the top with their teaching! Every day my son comes home from school he wow's me with all of his knowledge with math, art, spanish, sign language, animals, etc! I would recommend this school to absolutely everyone i know! This school is more like a family to us
