I have been renting a unit from A1 for 3 years now! I have never had a problem! When I was searching for storage units I found A1 to be the most reasonable as well as very accommodating. I live in Florida now and I can tell you that A1 is still hands down the best storage business I have ever dealt with! I recently needed another unit in Maine for some things my son needed to store! One call from Florida to Hampden, Maine and Paul took quick care of the whole process! The next day after I talked to Paul my son was moving stuff in!nnThis is a very well run company!!!
I had an awesome experience with Paul at A-1. I was in desperate need of a storage unit (never had to have one before) and Paul was very kind and understanding as well being patient with someone that had no idea what to do. He's fair and thoughtful and willing to work with you. I would recommend his facility to anyone that needs storage. Just talk to him...he's very helpful. Always accessible-easy to get to and in-as well as excellent security at the property. I felt safe that my belongings were going to be ok.
Very convenient. Always accessible. I was looking for a place that I felt safe storing my car, because it had been my dad's and it is very sentimental as he passed away last year. I had never needed a storage facility before, but Paul made it very easy. I was glad I chose A1. I had no anxiety this winter storing it there. Very secure and well lit. Unit stayed dry. I would highly recommend A1 safe storage!!!
Not a good experience. After I canceled my storage agreement, I got my deposit back and thought we were all set. Was great to work with and was pleased with my experience. Then six months later I get an email that was a receipt from A-1 for a storage unit I did not have nor the time it indicated. Tried reaching out via email and phone but no response. Next thing I knew, A-1 illegally charged my credit card without my agreement. Awful business practice.
