We have a family 'rule' that we always try a local restaurant never a chain when visiting a new place, and this place came up in our Google search. This quaint little restaurant is in a quiet little neighborhood, appropriately facing a neighborhood. The food was quite good! Everything from the chips and salsa (just the right amount of kick!), to the gorditas, and flautas de la bandera (I ordered the shredded beef). Everything tasted like home! I'm a stickler for good iced tea, and this place did not disappoint! Crisp and clear and delicious, with plenty of ice! The service was friendly and helpful, and the place is nice and cozy. Being that we're out of towners, I don't know when we'll be back, but all you locals need to pay them a visit so that this little neighborhood gem will continue to thrive!

Small, cozy and clean. Waitress attended us right away and did a great job overall. Guacamole was fresh and delicious. Ordered the Sirlon a la Mexicana, it could have used more seasoning but cooked just as I ordered it; medium rare. Only complaint would be their borracho beans, they looked liked chili beans but tasted like regular pinto beans. Frijole de la holla is what I was expecting and would have added to my rating. Totally recommend though. The menu had an abundance of great choices.

Delicious 😋, great food. Friendly service. Enchiladas are superb 👌 always recommended to others. I would eat here over and over again. Really can't say enough. Green sauce is very tasty. Chips and salsa are perfection. Definitely a place to check out if you're in town.

Best New Mexican food I have had. Service is at the level of fine dining without the thrills. Ask for Luis. Order whatever he thinks is best. He knows the menu and what you want better than you. The Fideos is an awesome side. Salsa is on point as well. Excited to come down and visit my parents more than ever after this. Even my tiny Mum eat her whole meal which is rare to say it lightly.

Great little mexican cafe in older part of las cruces. Excellent atmosphere. Sidewalk seating available. Food was reasonably priced. Spicy but not too hot... Some of the dishes were on the salty side, but overall excellent. Chicken chimichuanga was particularly delicious. Also across from a well maintained public park
