Came in from an international flight with a passenger and a lot of bags. Fueling was prompt and efficient however the service tech who was supposed to help us unload the bags was hard pressed to lift a finger. Our flight crew personally unloaded all but one bag and loaded them into the vehicle. This service tech was then incredibly rude, and repeatedly asking us to pay immediately while we were busy with other tasks. I have been to FBO's across many continents and have never been more irritated with personnel than I was here.
Bangor Aviation Services always does a great job for us in the middle of the night. They are very prompt and quick turn us on international legs back to the US. Customs here is very prompt. The FBO facility does lack quite a bit and is a typical 1950s or so era building that definitely needs some updating. Staff is always friendly and helpful, but it is no secret the local airport authority runs it and sometimes a more capital leaned (read customer service oriented) mindset could be helpful here.
Many experiences with the crew and all positive. I have been there with both small and turbine aircraft - treated the same! Great service even when the weather is awful. Front counter staff couldn't be nicer.
Was very efficient and timely with my preheat on my warrior but the CSR was making me feel unwanted due to my single engine warrior aircraft.
