If you like your espresso drinks rich, deep, dark, and delicious, you will love Birches. I stop here for curbside almost every weekend on my northern travels. They have gluten-free goodies in addition to their daily pastry offerings. And their service is fast and friendly. A great new addition to the area!
I've been looking forward to Birches opening since their sign went up earlier on this summer. This is the cutest like cafe and market and exactly what this part of Route 1 needed. It's clean, full of Maine-made products and the coffee is out of this world. I tried an iced latte with oat milk and candied sesame flavor shot today - so delicious! Will definitely be coming back soon.
Y’all, this place is so cute! I turned my car around because the “shop local” sign got me. I got a mocha, and it was so good! Also they have OAT MILK (for a very reasonable upcharge of 50¢) and it made for the creamiest drink ever. The space is bright and cheery. I’ll be back for sure.
One of the smoothest cappuccinos I've had, and the caprese toast was delicious. Will definitely be coming back!
Ordered two 12 oz drinks. Both half liquid the remainder just foam. That's a seriously short pour. The coffee, notood, really rough. And the drinks far, far too hot.nMaybe we'll try again after they've had time to settle in in a couple of months
